What to Expect

We understand that visiting a new church can be an intimidating experience. At Gethsemane Lutheran Church, we have made every effort to make your time with us as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel at home. Whether you are looking for a cup of coffee, childcare, or even the restroom, you'll be met by friendly people who are always willing to help you and to get you where you need to go.

At Gethsemane Lutheran Church, you don't need to give a second thought to what you are wearing. Come as you are. We are much more interested in you and your real life needs than what you are wearing.

Our desire is that you will discover a newer and fuller way to live by engaging Christ in a more personal and direct way. Come this Sunday and continue your journey of both personal and spiritual growth.

Here's what you can expect when you visit us on Sundays

• a casual atmosphere
• friendly people
• solid biblical teaching and preaching

worshipWorship

Worship at Gethsemane Lutheran Church is about focusing on God and spending time in God’s presence. We pray to be transformed, strengthened, and equipped to live as Christians. Our Worship Services are at 8 and 10:30 a.m. every Sunday morning. We use a variety of music styles in our worship, including traditional, contemporary, Gospel, and classical. The teaching and preaching is relevant and applicable to your everyday life. And the people are real, just like you, experiencing the same joys and struggles of life. Our worship services are for all ages and include prayer, song, Bible readings, a sermon, frequent children’s sermons, and communion. Come and join us.

Adults

Our various groups are the best way to connect and grow at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. We are not meant to live alone. We're made to grow, learn, and thrive through our relationship with God and each other. That's the foundation of our Adult Bible Studies. Visit the  Educational Opportunities page for more information.

Youth

Youth are a big deal at Gethsemane! Our students in grades 6-12 meet Sundays at 9:15 a.m. Students break into groups to investigate the Bible's teaching and take a closer look at how a relationship with Christ impacts our day-to-day life. For information on our Student Ministry, please visit our Kids and Church page.

Children

If you spend much time around Gethsemane you will see that children are very important. We want your child to grow up well-balanced, loving God, loving people, and loving life. Check out our Kids and Church page for more information.
